Parking Renewals/Applications

The HawkCard & Parking Services Office is now accepting applications for the 2005-2006 school year. All permit applications must be submitted in person to our office. Your permit will be issued at that time.

What’s New?

Application/Renewal Procedure

To apply for a parking permit or renew your previous year’s permit, just follow these easy steps:

New Applicants:
          Print out the application at the bottom of this page and fill it out               completely.
          Bring the application along with copies of your vehicle registration               and proof of insurance to our office. If the vehicle is not registered to               you or your parents, we will also need a letter from the registered               owner stating that you have permission to use that vehicle. The               registered owner will be held ultimately responsible for any citations               issued to the vehicle.
         We will process your application while you wait, and you will be               given a hang tag that should always be displayed when your vehicle is               parked on campus.

Renewing Customers:
          Print out the application at the bottom of this page and fill it out               completely.
          Verify that you do not have any outstanding citations by calling our                office at 312.567.8968 and providing your name and license plate                number. All citations must be cleared before your renewal will be                processed. Any outstanding citations may be paid when you come in                to renew your permit.
          Bring the application and your previous hang tag to our office. We               will process your application while you wait, and we will update your               hang tag for the 2005-2006 year. If you have misplaced your               previous hang tag, a $20.00 replacement fee will also be charged.

Parking Rates

The following options are available.

Option A (Main Campus Lots, Yellow and Green Permits)

          1.   Annual Permit (Valid until Aug 31, 2006 ): $375.00
          2.   Fall and Spring Permit (Valid until May 31, 2006 ): $288.00
          3.   Fall Permit (Valid until Dec. 31, 2005 ): $128.00

Note: Students living on campus will be issued a Yellow Permit, while students commuting to campus will be issued a Green Permit. There is a limited supply of Green Permits available, so commuter students are encouraged to apply early.

Option B ( U.S. Cellular Field, Black Permits)

          1.   Annual Permit (Valid until Aug 31, 2006 ): $70.00
          2.   Fall and Spring Permit (Valid until May 31, 2006 ): $54.00
          3.   Fall Permit (Valid until Dec. 31, 2005 ): $30.00

Note: U.S. Cellular Permits are only available to commuter students.

Parking Citations

ALL PAST DUE PARKING TICKETS MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO A RENEWAL/APPLICATION BEING APPROVED . Please contact the HawkCard & Parking Services Office at 312.567.8968 if you wish to check to see if you have outstanding parking violations. Be prepared to provide your vehicle license plate number when checking on your outstanding parking violations.

Reminder: Appeals for parking tickets that have exceeded the seven day grace period will automatically be denied!
