Mission Statement

The Parking Office provisions parking for the university community.

What we do:

• Issue parking permits
• Enforce parking regulations
• Maintain parking resources
• Assist in event planning
• Coordinate shuttlebus operations

Hours of Operation:

Standard hours are Mon-Fri, 8:30am to 5pm. Hours are subject to change during holidays or special events. Calling ahead is recommended.

Important Parking Notices

• Improvements are currently being made in the quantity and location of Handicapped parking spaces across Main campus. Contact our office if you have any questions. Visit our ACCESSIBLE PARKING PAGE for our current policy.

Visitor Parking

The A4 (32nd & State) and D5-V (34th & State) visitor parking lots have new pay stations. Both accept $1, $5, and $10 bills and credit cards. Expanded variable rate options are available.

US Cellular Parking

No Parking at US Cellular after Sox Opener on April 13th (Posted in: IIT Today April 10, 2012)

US Cellular permit holders must park on Main Campus beginning with the Sox Opener on Friday, April 13 through the duration of the permit year (August 31). During this time, permit holders may park in eligible white star lots on campus (Campus Parking Map). Current Main Campus permit holders may not switch to US Cellular. Access to parking lots will be available with the HawkCard ID.
